We can't wait to see and share these creations! Students have almost finished “The Terrible Two” book club book and are preparing to read “The Lemonade War.”
Field trip to see “The Wild Robot” is Thursday, October 10th! Students are super excited about this trip so make sure you double check that admission and permission slips have been turned in.

In Math, 3rd-grade students will be exploring division through relating the concepts of multiplication and division. They will:
• Determine multiples of numbers
• Find unknowns in multiplication and division equations • Determine whether equations are true of false
• Restate division as a missing factor equation
• Solve 1 and 2 step word problems using the 4 operations
In Science, students will continue the exploration of the properties of matter through hands on exploration. They will compare materials and objects according to properties such as temperature, mass, volume, and state of matter.
Third grade will start reading "The Lemonade War" the week of 10/7 or 10/15. The teachers requested that if you have a copy, you could send it in for your student, as they don't have enough for everyone.
3rd Grade: Science of Flight - Our 3 rd graders will soar into the science of flight, using aerodynamic concepts to understand how air and other forces act on gliders and aircraft. They'll design, build and test experimental model gliders, deepening their understanding of the forces that make flight possible.
