We're opening up our Class Fund for teacher gifts throughout the school year. Here's how it will work:

• • All three teachers will get a gift from the full class before Winter Break, during Teacher Appreciation Week, and on their birthday

• • 100% of the funds will be used to purchase gift cards to useful retailers like Amazon and Target

• • We're setting a goal of $1,000 for the whole grade, which will allow us to give each teacher $100 at the end of each semester and on their birthdays

• • We'll use any funds we get over $1,000 to buy items from each teacher's class wish list

• • We'll be transparent about how much we've raised and how it's getting used

• • We'll also coordinate online cards your families can sign to share your gratitude, whether you donate to the gift fund or not

• • Participation is totally optional of course, but we hope this is an easy way for us to all recognize our teachers year-round
